Influencer-writer-vocalist Raba Khan was the pioneer among the popular young and old artists of the country. According to Abul Hayat, it was a family gathering. But the question is how are they all family? In fact, in a series called ‘Aantka’, everyone will be seen as a part of a family. That’s why it became a family hangout for artists.

The country’s popular OTT platform Charki’s original series ‘Antka’. The series will be released on Charki on January 14 at 12 pm (January 15). The platform chose a family-oriented story as the first content of the new year for viewers. Various twists have been kept in the series under the shelter of family context. The series is produced by Arafat Mohsin Nidhi with story, screenplay and dialogues by Raba Khan. This is his first series as storyteller and producer.

What is ‘atka’? Raba and Nidhi say, ‘Atka is a word which means sudden. It’s a very local word, we use it often.’ While telling the story of finalizing the name, Raba said, “One day Nidhi and I were talking on the phone about the name of the series. Nidhi used the word ‘Antka’ a few times during that conversation. Then we thought it could be the name. We also use the word often. After various discussions and arguments, we decided on the name.”

In 2023, the story of ‘Antka’ comes to mind with Nidhi and Rubber. As they thought about the story, they decided that the story would be more of a family drama than a horror comedy. At the end of 2024, they write its synopses. The rest of the work is completed after joining the Charki, said Raba-Nidhi.

‘Antka’ also stars Mukul Siraj, Suman Anwar, Tanmoy Parvez, Durjoy, Alif Khan, Fardeen Khan, Fahad Riaz Khan, Dalia, Abu Naeem.
